Trimline Study - Universal Testing Machine

This is a device commonly used in engineering which is called a universal testing machine. It has a load cell which measures changes in force when the device pulls the upper arm away from the base. At a point when there is a sudden change in force such as when something breaks or comes off, a value is obtained for that specific event and used as the point of failure or detachment.
